Wild Ride Continues

By Karina Hernandez, Senior Research Analyst

It continues to be a heck of a ride for the market as investors continue to rotate out of growth stocks, and the AI trade.

The Fear & Greed index moved further into Extreme Fear and hit its lowest level since October 2022.

The Volatility Index (VIX), the so-called Fear Index, is at worrisome levels, but it is the kind that tries to push the decision markets around.

Energy (XLE) and Consumer Staples (XLP) are holding onto gains, as most sectors move lower with Technology (XLK) lagging.

The Ten-Year Treasury Yield (TNX) is down 10 basis points to 4.217%.

Bitcoin (BTC) moved below its 200 MA and the $80,000 level.

On the economic front, the New York Fed inflation a year from now is seen at 3.1%, up from January’s 3%. The projected level of inflation three and five years from now was unchanged at 3%.

Highway to Hell, Baby...No disrespect to AC/DC But....The Fes should have started tightening in 9/21. Instead, they putz' around till 3/22. Ten, instead of finishing the job...they started lowering rates! Insanity. You Pilgrims out there haven't seen S---! I tried to tell Charles, but No he don't listen. You People haven't lived thru 13% Treasuries and 12% Mortgaes...and if you did? It seems you still haven't learned the Lesson.....So, Good Luck to Y'all. Infaltion is, to paraphrase a learned individual...a MONETARY phenomen. Pure and simple! But You People will send my comment to the trash bin, like so many others, because it does not fit your narritive. That's why I stopped sending my thoughts. Why waste my time, an unknown voice crying from the wilderness. Well, I've done my part. It's like beating your head against a Brick Wall. "The Beatings Will Continue till Morale Improves! Hasta la Vista, mi Compradres....I'm just riding the Gravy Train to the Bank!
