Major indices are building on the recent gains with the S&P 500 moving further above its 50-day moving average and close to the key 5,200 level.

Materials has been leading for the most part today while Consumer Discretionary is the worst performer due to poor performance from Tesla (TSLA) following news that another plant in Germany will shut down. 

The three-year bond auction attracted average demand. A high yield of 4.605% was two bps below the when-issued yield and marking the fifth highest yield since 2007. All eyes to the 10-year auction tomorrow.
