It was tough sledding last week as financial reports failed to impress overall.

But one niche posted results for the ages.

Only one sector finished higher this week. Communication Services (XLC) is home to many hyperscalers, which posted breathtaking results during the week, the consensus and reactions notwithstanding.

I will discuss this in greater detail in the earnings section of this note, but what’s happening in Artificial Intelligence (AI) is remarkable.

We are on the cusp of seeing things come true only in comic books and movies—things that even ‘Michelangelo’ couldn’t have conceived. But the stock market gives a moist yawn.
